Rhythm Zero shaped by a belief in simplicity, clarity, and the value of everyday practice. Positioned within the pace of the city, we aim for our cafes to offer a considered environment where coffee, space, and atmosphere are approached with equal care.

We exists to provide a consistent, thoughtful environment within the city—one that supports both brief visits and extended time, individual moments and shared experiences.

Rhythm Zero began with a simple idea: that a cafe could hold the same attention as a gallery, and that coffee could be part of a slower, more considered kind of looking. Set on a quiet stretch of Kent Street in Greenpoint, the space was built by Ivana and Alex  as an extension of the worlds they came from...art, hospitality, and the daily ritual of coffee.

“We are still learning day by day, with every single meeting, with every single conversation. I come from the finance corporate world, so dealing with art is something truly different, and each project is very unique.”

Our design approach favors natural materials, honest finishes, and a restrained palette. These choices we make to best ground the space and allow it to age with character, while maintaining a sense of continuity with its surroundings. We prefer to focus on longevity, comfort, and a sense of calm.
